ABOUT THE ARTIST
I went to college right after high school (I don't recommend it. I think it might have been better if I'd walked around and had to work for a year or so before college.) Don't get me wrong, I treasure my college and my lifelong friends but I had no idea that I would be teaching now. In fact I can remember thinking that there was no way I would want to teach. Now, teaching art to children in grades kindergarten through 6th is the easiest job in the world for me. I make art all day everyday - mostly using glue, scissors, paper, and tempera paint. So, getting to do actual paintings is kind of a treat. I was mostly inspired by the paint. I just like how the colors swirl together. The angels sort of emerged from the color.
