ABOUT THE ARTIST
During his working career, David spent many weekends attending Art Fairs in Chicago and Wisconsin. His paintings were accepted in the Art Rental Program at the Art Institute of Chicago, which rented paintings to private patrons and corporations. Through this program Standard Oil Company bought 5 of his paintings for their permanent collection. David was a juried artist in the Old Town Art Fair in Chicago for 14 years. David has had several one-man shows at the Old Town Art Gallery and several group shows at the Pallet & Chisel in Chicago. In the summer of 2005, David had a one-man show at the University of Virginia Medical Center, and the Medical Center purchased the featured painting of the "show-fer its Children's Intensive Care Unit.
