ABOUT THE ARTIST
Currently an Associate in the ceramics program at the Art League in Alexandria, Virginia, I have been a studio potter for over 15 years. My work is primarily wheel-thrown porcelain pieces that combine functional and decorative elements to offer an alternative to industrial, machine manufactured ceramics.

Working in a communal environment, I have the opportunity to share knowledge and creative ideas. This shared influence is reflected in my work. My focus is on creating designs that are both esthetically appealing and can be integrated into daily life.

I have shown my work in galleries around the Washington metropolitan area, including the Studio Gallery in Washington, DC and the Torpedo Factory Art League Gallery. I also collaborate on functional pieces with Nancy Bishop, a ceramic artist based in Berryville, Virginia.
