Laura Howell's photography reflects her multi-facetted interests, her artistic eye, as well as her technical understanding of her craft. She has traveled extensively, including having recently completed her second circumnavigation of the world with her husband and two sons on board their family's sailboat. Her heartfelt interest in the many wonders of God's creation, the peoples of different cultures and the surprising beauty in the seemingly ordinary, set her work apart. "Laughing at Life" was taken in Southern Africa in 2005.
