ABOUT THE ARTIST
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, Sharon's professional goal is a desire to record the beauty and spirituality which she finds in all life forms, so that her work is her passion for life made manifest. She uses her inner child's eyes to see all that is new and wondrous in the universe. Sharon is fascinated with the concept of surface design, in which colors and patterns are juxtaposed in painterly fashion to give each piece its own unique expression. In a light and airy Northern Virginia studio, she creates a colorful array of silk scarves, clothing and accessories.
